Recognising gaps in their own resources and skill sets a number of corporates have drawn upon the specialist skills of Statius over the years; a small sample of which include:

Where a project was commissioned to integrate their existing Investors in People processes and practices with the requirements of a new ISO 9001 system and their own very detailed corporate handbooks.

At Serco we were commissioned by a contact from a previous client who had been appointed to run the then Serco Dockland Light Railway project. One high-level project focused on establishing a detailed and specific understanding of the customer needs resulting in improved service delivery and improved customer satisfaction. Another was to take a fast-growing and fragmented company culture and meld it into a single culture around delivering benefits to the customer.

The initial assignment for Rio Tinto was to obtain ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 for the London office in just 4 months. This was followed with assignments to assist with the ongoing maintenance of the system and, later, assistance was provided with the head office move from St James and the reintegration of the systems at the new offices in Paddington.

Statius has worked with GEA staff and companies within the group for nearly 30 years both at home and abroad. The initial project was to obtain ISO 9001 for a group company. This was followed by rationalising both the systems and the certification agency provision for a variety of companies that were pulled into a more cohesive UK Group. Projects have also been undertaken abroad in setting up systems for a new manufacturing centre in Holland.

A number of on-site projects have been undertaken for Hochtief where Statius staff have been engaged to act as “hands-on” compliance managers for difficult to manage and high-risk construction activities.
