Investors in People

Statius was again assessed to the requirements of the Investors in People standard this month.

Helen Morgan, the IIP assessor, attended the November Company meeting at which arrangements were made to discuss company strategy and the associated learning and development activities with a sample of Statius staff.

The interview dates were set for the week beginning 15 December with the informal debrief today.  

The (hardly unexpected) excellent news is that the Company, and more particularly the staff that make up the Company, can be very proud of their achievements.  Just two of the comments made by the assessor included: 

• People are given a lot of ownership and responsibility – they are trusted to get on with the job
• People value the flexibility of the company and the genuine care for them as individuals
