The approach and the project

Given the geographic spread of the participants (San Paulo, Barcelona, Lisbon and Croatia), and the additional pressures arising from COVID restrictions, the project was undertaken completely remotely.

A comprehensive gap analysis of existing systems was undertaken to highlight the actions required to ensure the system implemented was in compliance with the stringent 17025 requirements.

The project thereafter consisted of scheduled meetings being undertaken with personnel from around the world in order to obtain input and ownership of the systems processes and practises developed. Additionally, given the commercial imperative of the deadline Statius managed the UKAS liaison process to ensure early engagement and that the UKAS assessment process was fully understood.

The outcome

Statius provided support at the quality and technical assessments both of which were passed within the very tight deadline imposed.
