We are a small tightly knit and very cohesive team and any appointment is an important decision for us, critical even, and we also suspect it’s pretty important for you too! We want people to want our job … not any job.

In fact, we believe that recruitment is one of the most important activities a business can undertake. We know that you are looking for the right role, the right culture and “fit”, as much as we are looking for candidates with the right skills, experience and attitude. Given this, we firmly believe recruitment should be a process of mutual due diligence so we want to make sure we do our best to make sure we are absolutely transparent about the company, your potential role, and our expectations.

I’d also go as far as saying the six most important words written about the way we think about work are … “joy in work” and “joy in learning”, written by one of my favourite management thinkers, a guy called Dr Deming.

So, as part of our process, we want to be sure you can add value by using your natural gifts and talents. One of Einstein’s pithy one liners might help here:

• “Everybody is a genius… but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

To mix metaphors, we try very hard to ensure we’re not putting a square peg in a round hole. So, in an attempt to pinpoint your genius we use a psychometric tool called Talent Dynamics to find out when you, are in “flow”.

If you’re interested in finding out more about us we may well be interested in finding out more about you, that being the case our recruitment process would typically involve the following stages:

We’ll let you know at each stage if you’ve been successful and will do our best to be as responsive as possible.

Oh, and if you are applying for a consultancy position, we have found it highly unlikely that you’ll have all the knowledge and skills we need (please don’t let stop you from applying), we would anticipate that there would be at least 12 months of development and learning along the way!
